Power Test

This event is for all competitors aged 18 years and above. Two techniques will be performed, one hand and one leg. Each competitor will choose the number of boards they wish to attempt for each technique and tell the referees prior to the event.

The competitor's choice of techniques from the selection below.

Hand Techniques: Elbow or Knifehand
Foot Techniques: Side Kick or Turning Kick

In the event of a draw, competitors will have to do the techniques that they have not chosen in the first round and again tell the number of boards to the umpire. Both techniques will be required.

Medals can only be given out to competitors who have gained some points. 2 Bronzes will only be awarded if the competitors are on the same number of points. If there is only one competitor in the division then they must score points to win the medal.

3 points for a broken board and 1 point for a bent board.

Special Technique

The technique performed will be high flying side kick. Each competitor will be allowed one measure up and two attempts to hit the target without disturbing the hurdle.

Medals and/or Trophies

There will be 1 gold, 1 silver and 1 bronze medal available for each division. This year, these are custom, exclusive Vision medals as shown below:

In each event, we guarantee that each competitor will have at least 2 rounds/attempts (provided there are more than 2 competitors in the division).

Overall competitors will be calculated over the 3 Vision competitions and awarded at the end of year.

Appeals Procedure

Appeals against individual decisions or outcomes will not be considered by the Central Desk. However, should you feel that the draw has not been executed properly or that incorrect procedure has been adhered to, you may lodge an appeal.

To lodge an appeal, approach the Central Desk in a calm and respectful manner and state your case as clearly as possible. It is the decision of the Central Desk whether to pursue an investigation.
