On Sunday 13th March AETA hosted its first League Championships of 2022 in Redhill, Surrey.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This competition is the first of three events this year where competitors can win medals so as to accumulate points towards their end of year overall total for individual and club.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

One of the main differences with our events is we use a re-qualification system on the draw meaning if a competitor loses a round then they have another opportunity to compete on the bronze medal draw.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This has proven to be very successful with competitors getting lots of experience on the mat.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Professional photographic company DE Photo were on hand, taking photos and providing amazing framed collages of the students competing, a great memory to look back on. We will have the link where you can order photos online during the week.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We would like to take this opportunity to thank all of the umpires and helpers who made the event happen and to the parents and students for supporting the event where lots of valuable experience was had.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Our next event is on Sunday 12th June in Tonbridge.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
