Hoshinsul Applied Self Defence Seminar – Mr Mark Davies

Mark Davies is the founder of Close Quarter Combat and self defence system Tactical Edge. It was originally designed for UK Special Forces and has therefore been developed for effective use under extreme conditions, factoring in fatigue, stress and high pressure situations.

Over the years, Tactical Edge has expanded to include personal safety training for Law Enforcement, the Security Sector and civilians as a Self Defence programme. This tried and tested system has its roots in many martial arts including ITF Taekwon-Do where techniques can be recognised from patterns and step sparring being used in real life situations, this connection helps the student to fully understand the devastating effect of them whilst learning a system that is easy to remember and connected in its application.

This 5 hour seminar will cover unarmed combatives, dealing with various grabs and the most common attacks, with the second part of the seminar covering defence against various weaponised attacks.

Participants must be experienced in ITF Taekwon-Do and licenced with their club.
